Patient engagement means collaborating and integrating the voice of the patient so we can improve all stages of a patients’ journey - from the time they begin having symptoms, until after recovery. Early, systematic, and frequent contact with patients has far-reaching advantages and we understand that engaged patients are better able to make informed decisions about their care.
